We here at The EscapeHatch are devoted to creating a space for our readers to escape reality, regardless of the genre they need to do so. As a non-profit magazine, accepting short stories, poems, and even clips of longer works that are published or in the process of being published, we work to provide our readers with veteran writers and introduce new voices.

We here at The EscapeHatch pride ourselves in attempting to provide our readers with a safe and comfortable place where they escape reality, which means we will be including material that reflects the diversity present in the real world. We strongly denounce and repudiate any and all acts of discrimination or violence on the basis of skin color, gender, sexuality, physical or mental disability, ethnicity, and religious preference. Any and all comments that promote such discriminatory behavior will be removed from our website.
